Whilst the church remains closed at present our Sunday Services are available to view on You Tube here  >> Tinshill Free Church on You Tube << . Past sermons can be heard and Bible Study notes / Food for Thought articles viewed via the navigation menu on the left.

Due to the raising of the Covid-19 alert level , the national and local situation and our desire to keep everyone safe we have reluctantly decided to remain closed at present and not to restart services in the building. We will continue to keep the situation under review.

If you live in the area you may well have received a Life Magazine through the post sponsored by us. We hope you have enjoyed reading it. Please use the navigation menu on the left to find out more about us and our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and do click on the tab in the menu entitled "Life Magazine" for further information.

Please do contact one of our elders by email or phone if you have any questions or need any help or support.
Welcome to the Tinshill Free Church website!
We are a group of Christians meeting in Cookridge, in North-West Leeds, and our church exists both to worship God and to reach out to the community with the good news of Jesus Christ.
Our beliefs are based entirely on the Bible. They are those which Christians have believed throughout the centuries since the time of Jesus Christ. You can find out more about what it means to be a Christian here, and about what we believe here.

We would love to see you at any of our Sunday Services or at any other meetings described on this website.
Families and those with young children are always welcome, and we hold regular clubs and events for children and young people, as well as for most other age groups. You can find out more about our regular meetings here.
Tinshill Free Church

Tinshill Free Church is an independent, evangelical, Christian church and was founded in 1968, meeting at our existing half-acre site at the corner of Tinshill Lane and Holly Avenue.
The word "Free" in our name means that we are independent of any outside authority, and not part of a denomination; although we do have regular fellowship with other churches and Christians nearby and across the world who also base their beliefs and practises on the Bible.
At first services were held in a hut, but in 1983 the present brick building was erected. You can find out how to get to us here.
